Zahara Surf

Become a surfer with Zahara Surf and start enjoying the Mediterranean waves that wash the coasts of Cádiz . You have it easy because we do not close at any time of the year and we work in a area of the beach authorized exclusively for our students.

We address all ages with specific courses for children, young people and adults. In addition, we can advise you on where to stay to sleep in the area while you complete our:

- Surf courses suitable for all levels : our teaching system is based on the division of groups by age because we have verified that learning is thus more efficient. From this idea come our children's surf programs, from 6 to 12 years old, those focused on adolescents, from 13 to 17 years old, and those that are aimed at adults who have already turned 18.

- Paddle surf classes : we recommend from the age of 14 and up to around 75. We start with the Open Water that takes place in what we call flat waters. The absence of waves allows to remain stable in the table from the first moment. From there we can continue learning to control the SUP board between the waves or on crossings of considerable duration.

In Zahara Surf you have the first official school to learn to surf in Zahara de los Atunes . Our facilities remain open throughout the year since the Costa de la Luz provides us with the ideal conditions so that it is difficult for you to miss a class due to the weather.

We organize the courses according to the ages of the students so that you learn with people of the same characteristics, which also always comes in handy to make friends with the same interests. These are:

- Surf courses for children in Zahara : they are the ones that we direct to the youngest of the school. We teach basic theory and practice from 6 years old and, in this group, we welcome participants up to 12.

- Surfing for adolescents on the beaches of Cadiz : in this case we train boys and girls whose ages are between 13 years and 17.

- Surf lessons for adults on the Costa de la Luz : all people over 18 years old who want to learn are welcome in this category, with no age limit.

In all these programs we provide a soft board, the neoprene that you will wear and special sports insurance. For the breaks we will give you water, some fruit or an energy bar and we take videos that will help you to see your progress and as a souvenir.

With Zahara Surf you have the opportunity to try paddle surfing in the Mediterranean from the Cadiz beach of Zahara de los Atunes.

Stand up paddle offers us one of the easiest learning modalities if your instructor knows how to address you, and that is something that we have already achieved and consolidated. With this preparation, and availability throughout the year, we propose:

- Open Water sup courses : this is the level suitable for anyone between 14 and 75 to start. We will do it in waters that remain calm in shallow areas of the beach so that you can calmly internalize the knowledge with which to advance to something more complex. After this course you will know how to row for a ride on the board.

- Sup in waves and excursions : for which we require a minimum of experience or have gone through introductory lessons before. So we can go into the sea to learn how to move in conditions of certain waves and on long routes.

We give paddle surf courses in the afternoons for 2 hours from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a maximum of 2 students for each instructor.
