Costa Verde Aventura

At Costa Verde Aventura we organize activities for you to discover the best corners of the Cantabrian Mountains . We know in detail everything that the Picos de Europa can offer you but we are also able to accompany you to other parts of the peninsula. If you have us, we will recommend excursions through the Pyrenees or trips to the Central System.

You have multiple ways to do this:

- Canyoning : with descents that we have classified into 3 levels so that you have it easy when choosing. If you need to start in this sport you have the La Molina ravine, you can continue to evolve the Navedo ravine or overcome your fears in the Viboli ravine, the most difficult of all in the Beyos gorge.

- Coastering : it has similarities with the descent of canyons but we will change the river for a journey through the cliffs of Llanes.

- Via ferrata : we will go with you to the Hermida ferrata so that you can ascend the Picos de Europa in one of the easiest ways that exist. You will cross several impressive Tibetan bridges over the Deva river.

- Hiking and mountain biking : we will walk or pedal through the Sierra del Cuera always taking into account your physical level.

With Costa Verde Aventura you have two modalities within the canyoning since we have proposals to do canyoning in the river and coastering from the exit of the cliffs to the sea.

- Ravines in Asturias and surroundings of various levels: the simplest of those we work with is La Molina which is in the Picos de Europa. We will go down a short section of the Casaño riverbed with some rappel and jump always simple. The highest of them is 7 meters but it is not mandatory so any beginner can enter this canyon.

If you want a more demanding challenge, we will advise you to descend the Navedo ravine in the Hermida Gorge. What you will like the most is its waterfall that requires rappelling over twenty meters. More complex is the Viboli canyon encased in the Cándanu River.

- Coastering in Llanes : we offer you the exclusive opportunity to try it because we are the only authorized instructors to jump and rappel between the Asturian cliffs. It can be done from the age of 11 and the ideal is that you come between May and October due to the weather and water temperature.

At Costa Verde Aventura we accompany you to try one of the simplest and most beautiful ferratas on the border between Asturias and Cantabria. It is about the itinerary in the mountain that is in the Hermida Gorge .

We will go to this town where we will climb the mountain for half a day. Keep in mind that the last 60 minutes are to walk back to the starting point so that we can start to relax.

At the beginning we will climb 20 meters quite vertical, completing a first section that will give way to the second where we will change to the horizontal progression to cross its bridges. While we follow this ferrata we will come across beautiful natural caves such as Jabalí or Ciloña . The largest Tibetan bridge that we will have to cross will give us spectacular views of the Picos de Europa .

If you decide to come with children, we anticipate that they will be able to climb the via ferrata with you from an age of 10 years . Also any time of the year is available if it is not raining or snowing. We will leave if you are 2 participants or with larger groups but if you come we will only make a space for you on one of the dates we have planned.

At Costa Verde Aventura we have the privilege of being surrounded by the spectacular mountains that make up the Picos de Europa . Furthermore, this landscape, applicable to your next bachelor party in Asturias , is perfectly complemented by the kilometer-long beaches that make up the Cantabrian coast.

With all this, you only have to decide which combination of adventures to choose from among the ones we propose. If you are going to spend several days practicing them with us, we know the right type of accommodation for each case among beautiful hotels and rural houses . The ideas that we like the most to share with friends are:

- Canyoning and coastering in Asturias : where we have the descents of Foz de Arangas and Foz de Causacas . Coastering is a variation that we will do by jumping from the cliffs overlooking the Cantabrian Sea.

- The via ferrata : at intermediate and beginner levels, which is the most suitable when you visit groups with people who do not have to have the same characteristics. This way you will all enjoy the vertical itineraries that we find in Asturian lands.
