Canoeing down the Sella River is a fun and safe activity to do as a couple, family or group. Frontera Verde Canoas has the following logistics:

- More than 70 canoes, including singles, doubles and triples.
- Offices in Cangas de Onís and Arriondas.
- Changing rooms with showers and hot water.
- Neoprene suits and jackets (at no extra cost), as well as the necessary material to carry out the activity.

The canoe descent activity can be done all year round. As long as time permits.

We have three possible routes.

- Arriondas - Toraño (7 km.): Ideal for those who only have half a day and don't want to get too tired. Also for large groups and with children. Possibility of doing it with or without a picnic. Approximate duration 2 hours.

- Arriondas - Omedina (14 km.): This is the most used route. Here it is to go down without rushing and enjoying the full day on the river. It is made with food and lasts approximately 4 hours.

- Arriondas - Llovio (17 km.): This is the longest version of the Sella, recommended for those with previous experience and desire to row. You can also go to Ribadesella with a total of 21 km. Approximate duration 5-6 hours.

- It is essential to know how to swim and be over 7 years old.

We have a wide range of hiking routes in the East of Asturias. Both inside and outside the Picos de Europa National Park.

Hiking requires a certain physical condition depending on the difficulty of the route, which is why we highlight three levels of hiking routes that we have prepared at Frontera Verde Hiking.

-The Easy level Routes are characterized by "good" paths, short duration and little slope.

Easy Level Hiking Routes: The Jurassic Coast, The Dobra River and the Lakes of Covadonga.

-At the Medium level, the routes run along rural paths and roads, they can last all day and have a greater gradient.

Medium Level Hiking Routes: La Ruta del Cares, La Cordillera del Sueve, La Berrea in Ponga, Corao, La Vega de Orandi and La Ruta del Oso

-The routes at the High level require previous experience in mountaineering and climbing and can last several days.

The High Level Hiking Route: Picu Urriellu and Picos de Europa.

An exciting activity in the bowels of the earth exploring mysterious caves carved into limestone rock.

The limestone terrain of Asturias is a paradise for caving, where there are still many chasms to explore. The discovery of important deposits and the possibility of breaking world records in their depths make specialists from all over the world visit us.

We take guided tours through several caves in the municipalities of Parres, Cangas de Onís, Ribadesella and Piloña. The possibilities are very wide depending on the size of the group, physical condition and experience in caving.

For a first contact with caving we recommend the Porquera cave, in the town of Triongo (Cangas de Onís) where we can make a pleasant foray into the underground world.

For people with more experience and a desire for adventure, we recommend the Huelga cave in the town of Nieda (Cangas de Onís). It is a crossing (entrance on one side and exit on the other) with two different levels and an underground river.

For large groups, we recommend the Pando and Tinganón caves, both in the municipality of Ribadesella. They are easy caves with large rooms and labyrinthine routes.

With Frontera Verde you can enjoy the most amazing nature driving an incredible quad , so that you not only do tourism , but also what you do with all the possible emotion.

• We always go through rural areas, to give a more incredible to the route . Trails, trails, rivers ... All kinds of terrain where you can unleash adventure.

• The vehicles, being automatic , are easily manageable, so you will have no problem driving them.

• In any case, it will be necessary to have a valid B1 driving license.

• Anyone can do this route. In the case of a family outing, the minimum age is 7 years old.

• In high season you can come every day. The routes have a duration of 1 hour, although we also do longer excursions but they must be at least 4 quads. Consult us without problem.

The off-road routes are one of the most popular tourist activities in Asturias . And it is for good reason, because the mountains and green fields throughout the region are impressive. At Frontera Verde we have joined these 4x4 tours, organizing several routes for you and your family where you can drive through restricted places for individuals, going up the Asturian mountain and seeing the mountains and valleys from on high.

The Poncebos-Caín route, leaving at 9:30 in the morning, passing through Arenas de Cabrales, Benia de Onís, Soto de Cangas and Cangas de Onís in a 3 and a half hour journey to spend a whole morning crossing through emblematic towns of Asturias before doing the same route, but in the opposite direction, leaving at 3 in the afternoon.

The route through the Picos de Europa is another wonder. Visiting tiny towns such as Tresviso, Sotres, Fuente Dé, Puerto de Áliva and Valdeón with departures at 9:00 from Cangas de Onís.

The tour of the lakes of Covadonga is the third route that we cover with our ATVs. We will stop at the La Reina and Los Canónigos viewpoints with views of the Enol and Ercina lakes, with breaks to walk through this paradise between mountains or to admire the landscape sitting down.
