In Horizons Sport and Adventures Snowshoes you can take excursions through impressive high mountain landscapes while doing sports.

Snowshoes are tools similar to classic skis that you should attach to your snow boots and provide you with unbeatable movement capacity for walking through mountainous landscapes.

Taking this into account, we propose different personalized routes through the Vielha area, in the Catalan Pyrenees. Among other areas, you can ascend to the Montgarrí Sanctuary.

You do not need previous experience in using snowshoes, since throughout the route you will be accompanied by one of our specialized instructors. They will explain the easy operation of snowshoes and will act as guides in the area you are traveling.

As for equipment, you only have to bring clothing adapted to the snow and we will provide you with snowshoes that fit perfectly to you, as well as the poles you need to help you move.

From Horizontes Deporte y Aventuras Snowmobiles we invite you to live an exciting experience driving one of these vehicles through the best snowy landscapes of the Catalan Pyrenees.

We offer you different routes through the mountainous areas enabled so that the snowmobile can pass through them. You choose the itinerary and duration, having the possibility of spending the night in a mountain lodge.

You can take a group route, like a race, or a free walk. In any case, our qualified instructors will accompany you at all times and will resolve any questions you may have or any technical problems that may arise.

Our snowmobiles have capacity for 1 or 2 people, so you and your companion can take turns driving.

To carry out this activity, you do not need experience or to have a driving license.

We will deliver the snowmobile to you, tuned in our workshops and with a full tank of gasoline. You only have to worry about bringing appropriate and comfortable clothing for the snow, paying special attention to gloves and hiking boots.

At Horizontes Deporte y Aventura Mushing we invite you to ride a snow sled pulled by our Alaskan dogs so you can take an unforgettable tour through the Pyrenees.

Our sleds have capacity for 4 people, including a professional instructor, who will be in charge of guiding the vehicle and directing the dogs during the journey.

Of course, the snow dogs in charge of pulling the sled are fully trained for this purpose and accustomed to dealing with humans. Each sleigh is pulled by 8 or 10 of them.

Our instructor will also act as a guide to the area and will teach you everything you need to know about the Alaskans, their customs and the environment in which they live. Even at some point along the route it will allow you to take the reins of the sleigh yourself, making this a highly instructive experience.

With mushing, completely booming within snow-related sports, we offer you the opportunity to visit the most beautiful mountain landscapes in a different way.

From Horizontes Deporte y Aventura Canyoning we offer you the possibility of descending through spectacular canyons, slides or waterfalls.

This activity consists of descending through the natural obstacles that a river has left on certain terrain, in this case the area of the Catalan Pyrenees. You will be able to experience all the excitement of descending through ravines as emblematic as Casau or Meligar.

You do not need to have previous experience in practicing this adventure sport, since we have a team of specialized instructors who will explain everything you need to know in advance and will accompany you during the descent, adapting its difficulty to the level you have.< /p>

We do canyoning for groups of at least 3 people. You should not bring special equipment: we provide you with a helmet, neoprene suit, gloves, ropes, harness,... All from top brands and adapted to your physical build.

Don't forget to bring dry clothes and a towel for when you have finished the activity, since the descents that we put within your reach are mostly aquatic.

From Horizontes Deporte y Aventura Rafting we invite you to enjoy this popular aquatic activity that consists of descending the rapids of a river aboard an inflatable boat with capacity for about 8 people.

The impressive landscapes of the Catalan Pyrenees will be the background that you can enjoy while you descend through the white waters.

You do not need to have previous experience, since one of our instructors will be in the back of the raft during the entire tour. He will be the one who guides you and the others through the river, indicating where you should paddle to slide through the most fun and safe rapids.

To carry out rafting you do not need to bring any special equipment, since we will be in charge of providing you with a paddle, helmet, neoprene suit and life jacket.

Likewise, we also provide you with civil liability insurance, necessary every time you practice an adventure sport.

The only thing you need to bring is dry clothes and a towel to dry off and change into once you have anchored the raft.

In Horizontes Deporte y Aventura Hidrospeed we discover this fun sport in which you can descend the rapids of a river aboard an individual water sled and with the help of fins.

You do not need to have experience in hydrospeed practice or in other types of whitewater descents. We have different aquatic routes adapted to the level of the participants.

The water sled you will ride is individual. However, we organize descents in groups, so you can experience all the excitement of racing with your friends through the rapids of the river.

The entire descent is carried out under the expert supervision of our team of instructors, who will accompany you throughout the entire tour aboard a kayak to be able to give you the necessary instructions and ensure that the entire tour takes place following the maximum safety measures.

We provide you with the equipment you need to practice hydrospeed: water sled, fins adapted to your feet, neoprene suit and life jacket.

At Horizontes Deporte y Aventura Horse Routes we offer you the opportunity to tour the impressive landscapes of the Aran Valley on the back of one of our steeds.

It is about taking a personalized tour along natural paths enabled for horse riding. You can choose the duration of said tour as well as the areas you want to visit. In addition, you can go in a group of several horses with your friends.

Our horses will make the job of riding them enormously easier for you since we have prepared them for this when dealing with humans. In the case of children, we will make them ride a smaller one and provide them with a safety helmet.

Throughout the route you will be accompanied by our specialized instructors, who will act as guides in the area and will also help you with all the particularities of the steed on which you will be riding. In this way, you can make the animal adjust its pace to your needs, always under the supervision of the monitors.

We advise you to bring comfortable clothing and it is much better to come with long pants to avoid friction.

In Horizontes Deporte y Aventura BTT you can take an exciting mountain bike tour through the spectacular natural landscapes of the Aran Valley.

We offer you different routes adapted to your physical build and the level you have as a cyclist. Therefore, we do not require that you be an athlete or have previous experience using this type of bicycle.

You have the possibility of doing these routes in groups of 4 people maximum, choosing the routes you want to take and their duration.

Ourspecialized monitors will accompany you throughout the tour, ensuring your safety and acting as a guide to the area.

The mountain bikes that we put at your disposal are constantly checked in the workshop at our Viellha facilities, so you should not worry about suffering any technical difficulties during the route.

From here we will also provide you with the rest of the equipment: helmet, gloves, protections,...

You will only have to worry about bringing comfortable clothing, as well as enough water and food to face the day with energy.

At Horizons Sport and Adventure Hiking we offer you the best walking routes through the impressive Arán Valley.

You can take different routes adapted to your physical level and the areas you want to visit.

Whether you want to get started in the world of hiking or plan a more sporting route, we customize the itinerary to your needs. We can make the expedition exactly to your needs.

The duration of the routes that we usually organize is usually 4 to 5 hours within the same day. You can do them in a group and it doesn't matter how old you are, so it is an activity designed for the whole family.

During the routes you will be accompanied at all times by one of our qualified guides, who will be in charge of explaining all the peculiarities of the Aran Valley and ensuring that all the activity is carried out in the safest way possible without anyone being left behind.

If you want to enjoy yourself observing the landscapes of the Aran Valley, hiking is the most practical and healthy way to advance through its expanses of land while exercising.

With Horizons Sport and Adventure Paragliding we invite you to fly over the unique landscapes of the Aran Valley mounted on this light glider that does not need a motor to move through the air.

To carry out this aerial route we offer you a two-seater paraglider, to which you will be attached along with one of our certified instructors by means of a harness.

The instructor will be in charge of guiding the paraglider through the skies of the Aran Valley. It will act as a guide and allow you to perform some maneuvers.

Our paragliders are equipped with the most modern communication techniques and the best security measures: Radio equipment, GPS communicator, barometer,…

Likewise, we will provide you with the personal equipment you need to fly paragliding: helmet, harness and gloves.

Since you fly with a specialized instructor, you do not need any prior experience or a specific age. Only if you suffer from a physical disability, you must notify us in advance so that we can adapt the paragliding and the flight route to your needs.

Horizons Sport and Adventure organizes excursions through some of the best via ferratas in Catalonia. An adventure, which if you have never had the opportunity to do it, is highly recommended for all audiences, even those who have no experience in mountain activities.

You will have to face ascents on metal steps, handrails, Tibetan bridges, climbs, ... The objective of the via ferrata is to be able to complete a peak, which without the help of the lifeline, would be almost impossible.

Depending on the ferrata, this activity can be done as a family, the initiation level ones are perfect for the youngest to become aware of the nature that surrounds them.

The excursions to ferrata are always guided by a monitor from our center, a certified mountain instructor who will also carry all the necessary material for the tour.
