With Las Machotas on your next electric bike route through the Madrid mountains, everything will be under control. We take care of: providing you with the fat bike type electric bicycle, adding a guide service, if you feel like it, and providing you with assistance during the itinerary.

To leave nothing to chance we have established four levels of difficulty. Our team will help you determine which one is yours by deciding between the easiest routes, the green and blue, and the more challenging ones, like the red and the black. Some of them are:

- Through the town of Zarzalejo: it is the simplest of our proposals with 7.8 km of easy and accessible paths that will take us to the Mirador del Guijo with the opportunity to contemplate the Canillo and Venero fountains.

- To the Silla de Felipe II: we will do a bicycle route to the La Herrería forest classified as green level, suitable for everyone, covering a distance of 14.2 km. It is an excursion in which we will obtain magnificent views of the Sierra de Guadarrama and its peaks, such as Abantos and San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

- Camino San Martín: we will follow easy trails completing a greater distance, since this route is close to 32 km in total. We will leave Zarzalejo in the direction of San Martín where the Navahonda hermitage is located.

- To the Castrejón Lagoons through the Ismaeles: a 12 and a half km route of intermediate complexity that will allow us to see the SPA areas that determine the protection of the bird species that inhabit the area.

We also have fixed guided routes on weekends:

Sugarcane Saturdays - Red level guided routes, maximum 6 places per group, intermediate-difficult technical level.

Quiet Sundays - Green level guided routes, maximum 14 places per group, easy level, suitable for all audiences and recommended for families with children.

IN SUMMER - Wednesday night routes.

Our guided routes will be guided by personnel qualified by the Madrid Cycling Federation.

At Las Machotas you have the opportunity to rent our electric bikes to pedal through the Sierra Oeste in Madrid comfortably and with less effort than with traditional ones. If you are a cyclist, our fat bikes will give you the opportunity to try a different modality with which you can extend your routes for more kilometers.

- What models can we offer you?: The Type A fat bike is the one we direct to the public from 15 years old with a height of 1.55 m. It has a 26' wheel and Samsung battery. It is available with a 20' wheel for children from 8 years old.

If you want to share the experience on the same bike, we have a tandem model(from 5 to 10 years old) and a trailer to carry the little ones, from 2 to 5 years old) prepared to support a weight of up to 40 kilos.

- What else do we provide you?: When renting the bicycle we lend you the helmet and a basic kit with a multi-tool wrench and the essential consumables to solve small breakdowns or punctures on the route. Keep in mind that the fat bike has an anti-theft locator for greater security.

You can request the bikes from us for a minimum of 1 hour or for 4 hours of use and you can additionally hire a guide, always having the option of moving around on your own.
