When can I go white water rafting in Llavorsí?

The best time to go rafting in Pallars Sobirà is between May and June when the ice is melting and there is an increase in the water flow. Although, from the end of February until October, you can find good options as long as the weather permits.

What sections of the river can I descend in rafting in Llavorsí?

- The best option for those trying rafting for the first time or are coming with children, is the 5 km (approx) route from Llavorsí to La Moleta. The first 3kms are quiet yet fun. However, the section called La Lavadora will make the whole group laugh and scream while experiencing a level IV rapid on the Noguera Pallaresa.

- Some 11 kilometres await you if you opt for the section from Llavorsí to Rialp, one of the best known for having everything you would expect in this sport. Full of rapids such as the Quatre Llarg, one of the longest you will find in the area, La Sirga or El Cuatro Español, the most intense, this route is perfect for thrill-seekers who do not have much experience.

This section of the Noguera Pallaresa is the most central. It is considered one of the most 'authentic' routes due to its white waters in the form of rapids such as El Pastís or La Vívora and is a level V rafting experience. You will discover, among other things, the Argentería gorge, whose legend involves Gaudí and the Sagrada Familia.
