Bahía Surf

The youth association Bahía Surf , is a center dedicated to teaching surfing and paddle surfing , in the little ones.

We work from the Bahia beach in Mazarrón , trying to ensure that more and more young people come to start in these wonderful water sports , through high quality courses, conducted carried out by qualified professionals. We take advantage of the potential of each student, and we develop it thanks to carefully studied exercises.

We will teach them to be the ones to evaluate themselves, when they are on the table. We have specific courses for winter, and others for summer.

In addition, we do not want anyone to be left out for financial reasons, for that reason, we launch different initiatives, such as some free courses, or sponsorship of young people with talent for surfing or paddle surfing .

Ultimately, the goal is to create a great community of surf lovers, who live by the healthy values that mark these sports, and transmit them in their day-to-day lives.

We also organize championships, so that all the surfers who want to sign up and we all have a good day together.

Our surf school Bahía Sur f located on the Bahia beach in Mazarrón , was born as a youth association, whose objective is to teach as many young people as possible, the techniques surf . In addition, we are in a perfect environment for it.

But surfing is not just getting on a board and trying to catch waves, it is a way of life. For this reason, during the courses that we carry out, whether they are initiation or advanced, we also want to transmit the values that are associated with this activity, which will serve you on a day-to-day basis.

We make use of the photos and videos of each session, so that the students themselves can see exactly what they have mastered, and what they can still go even further.

You can also sign up for championships that we will organize from time to time, and that are an excuse for you to meet other lovers of surf , with whom you will surely continue to learn.

paddle surfing is one of the activities that you can come to enjoy at Bahía Surf , our youth association. We focus on teaching the youngest.

We offer courses of different levels, so that you always find what you were looking for. The courses are held both in summer and winter. We complement the outings in the water, with practice in the sand, and specific exercises to improve balance.

We also use the method of video and photos, so that the students themselves can see what aspects of the activity could be improved. It is much more effective that way, being able to see it.

We also carry out championships, in which you can put into practice what you have learned, and continue learning with other colleagues who also love paddle surfing.

One of the options that we recommend the most is to practice it while hiking . For this adventure we will begin by presenting those who are going to be part of it while we provide them with the appropriate equipment for each one, which will take into account how much they weigh and what their height is.

We continue with a theoretical quarter of an hour that we dedicate to knowing what paddle surfing is and what rules it will be essential to respect to be safe. We will take the first steps in this activity while still on the shore to know what the boards are like, how to handle the paddle and how we will be able to stand up on the board.

The journey will take place in a totally natural area, dotted with coves in which we can immerse ourselves with the diving goggles that we will wear. We will also have the opportunity to enter a large cave with access to the sea. All this always with our qualified instructors who will teach us how to execute the proper technique.

At Bahía Surf the sport that gives us our name is not our only specialty and, therefore, we also offer you to try kayak sailing with us.

Our intention is that your visit to the Murcian coast is the most complete, for this reason we are sure that one of our trips in these boats, simple and light, will allow you to achieve it. We will do it like this:

• We have our center right on the Bahía beach next to the Puerto de Mazarrón , of course there are no excuses when you try to locate them . From there it will be where we will start the activity.

• Once you request a kayak from us, both for a crossing , and for a short ride at sea, we will first give you some instructions. It is easy, it has hardly any aspects that we have to comment on but it will be good for you to know how to place the paddle between your hands and with what technique to sink it into the water. This is done by our monitors, all graduates and all with experience.

• The route can follow the usual one that we also follow with our paddle surf boards. They are natural spaces that border the coast, reaching cliffs that are not accessible on foot.
