At Deltaventur, what was the dream of a team inspired by the most diverse adventure sports, has become a solid leisure company that has been accumulating the experiences of those who trust it since the early 90s.

Our proposal has been based, since its inception, on the breadth of offer made possible by the Ebro Delta in the province of Tarragona. Little by little, it was adding value with the initiatives provided by the instructes themselves until we got the catalog of activities that we can offer you today:

- Canoes and kayaks as the purest and simplest form of navigation accessible to people of almost all ages and without the need for knowledge.

- Canyoning in the natural canyons that the river has formed through the temporary stages through which it has been passing.

- Routes in 4x4 vehicles that give us the opportunity to get to know the surroundings comfortably.

- The most extreme bungee jumping you can imagine that will put before you the next challenge to face in your life.

- Fishing and sailing as ways of coming into contact with the aquatic environment through different experiences.

Going down a river in canoes is a very pleasant activity that puts people in direct contact with nature. Deltaventur recommends this form of navigation for groups of friends and, above all, work groups, since one One of the values that is most encouraged in this activity is teamwork.

The canoes have a maximum capacity of 6 people, with cargo included.

The main difference with the Kayak is that with the canoes the paddling seems much easier because you are comfortably seated. It is recommended that at least two adults go in each boat for safety if there are also children.

Deltaventur will be in charge of designing the route and putting at your disposal an experienced canoe descent instructor to teach you the basic notions. It will be the one who takes care of guiding you down the Ebro riverbed. Some of the destinations that you can decide within the section in which we operate is the Matarranya area, the Lo Pas de l'Ase area or the one that reaches La Cubeta of Móra. Each one has a different duration and characteristics.

At Deltaventur we concentrate the greatest variety of kayak routes in the Ebro Delta area. This last stretch of the river that extends to the sea offers us multiple possibilities aboard these simple boats. Some of them are:

- Walk to the Island of Buda : we will sail towards Migjorn seeing how nature surrounds us in a scenario in which tranquility prevails next to banks of lush vegetation.

- Descent between Miravet and Benifallet : a particularly beautiful itinerary that begins at the pier that corresponds to Miravet Castle and continues to the destination point that we have indicated.

- Islands of Sapinya and Gràcia : they are just over 12 kilometers that are completed in about 2 and a half hours that have Amposta as their origin and Sant Jaume d'Enveja as their goal.

- Los Garxals : on this descending walk we will do a short but intense circuit at the mouth of the river. This means arriving at the place where the sea and fresh water meet, with which we can be surprised by more or less strong waves depending on the day we have chosen for the activity.

Deltaventur Canyoning manages routes through the canyons eroded by the Ebro basin, in the province of Tarragona.

In this area of the coast, the rock formations formed allow the practice of canyoning at a level suitable for all ages and audiences.

The Barranco de Canaletas stands out for being very affordable for anyone who wants to have a first contact with the world of canyoning. In addition, its privileged geographical location in the heart of Els Ports Natural Park , border between Aragon and Catalonia, endows it with the benefits of both communities.

The descent usually lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, but everything will depend on the rhythm of the activity. The maximum unevenness that we find is 60 meters.

The departures take place from our base in Amposta, from where the groups will leave with our vehicles to the exit point of the ravine. We also give those who wish to meet us in Horta de Sant Joan and start the activity there all together.

For canyoning it is very convenient that you know how to swim. It will also be necessary for each member to bring a bathing suit, towel and spare clothes. The rest of the material is provided by us.

Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance since you will have to request permits from the relevant authority of the natural park to be able to practice canyoning.

Deltaventur Vela gives you the opportunity to sail in a dinghy sailing along the Mediterranean coast of Tarragona.

Our jetty is located in Bahía dels Alfacs , one of the few natural areas of these characteristics on the Mediterranean coast that are in a virgin state. Here you can enjoy the peculiarities that the lower Ebro grants on its way out to the sea.

In this fishing village you will escape from the great tourist crowds of the beaches that border the Mediterranean Sea enjoying a true vacation in which only tranquility and rest fit.

We put at your disposal sailing boats with all the comforts so that you can spend a perfect day without complications because its handling is very simple.

The boats are designed for groups that are made up of a minimum of 4 crew members and can accommodate a total of 10 people simultaneously. These will always be accompanied by a qualified skipper who will take care of security during the tour. In addition, an inflatable boat of our team will monitor that the activity runs normally.

Deltaventur Climbing organizes expeditions in high mountains or in climbing walls aimed at practicing this discipline.

If you are an experienced climber, your site is outdoors, join Deltaventur expeditions and enjoy a day full of emotions and beautiful landscapes to contemplate from a different perspective than usual.

In the event that you have little or no experience in this modality, it is best to start learning the basics of this sport in climbing walls . This type of facility is made up of walls that simulate the cliffs of a natural wall but with the security of being in a controlled environment where you can learn the tricks of climbing without the pressures of the natural environment.

We also have a mobile climbing tower for those events you organize. The rental of the climbing wall includes a monitor and can be moved to the location that the client wishes. You just have to indicate it in advance to check the viability of the place to place the installation.

Deltaventur Buceo is in charge of organizing and teaching diving and diving courses for all levels.

The courses will be taught both in the swimming pool and in the Mediterranean Sea, specifically on the L'Ampolla coast, Tarragona. It will be necessary to have previous swimming knowledge to carry out the activity.

The courses that we have suitable for each level are:

• Initiation to diving or baptism: is especially suitable for those who have a first contact with diving. The appropriate material for use and immersion techniques will be explained to them. At first, it will be done in a pool (3 hours approx) until we become fluent, to later go into the sea and practice what we have learned (3 hours)
• Open Water Diver: is a bit more advanced than baptism, but it is still for beginners. The peculiarity of this level is that we grant you a PADI card, which accredits you to be able to dive. In total there are three phases: the first is theoretical; the second will consist of practicing in an acclimatized pool; and finally, the investment will be made in the sea at a height of about 18 meters deep.
• Advanced Open Water Diver: is the specialization of those who started in “open water”. We will process your international PADI card, which gives you the freedom to dive on any beach in the world.
• Rescue Diver: this course is indicated for accident prevention and performance techniques. The goal is to develop skills to intervene in emergencies. You will get intentional PADI accreditation.

To carry out these courses, a minimum age of 16 is required.

Deltaventur Hiking has been organizing hiking routes for years, so today it has accumulated the experience that allows it to add extra quality to its active tourism proposals. We have several itineraries in nature that you can choose from, above all it is important to know if you want to enjoy a maritime landscape more typical of the Ebro Delta, or if you prefer mountain nature.

Deltaventur 4x4 Routes is one of the leading companies in the rental and organization of routes in 4x4 vehicles in the province of Tarragona .

We have unbeatable facilities located in the Tarragona town of Deltrebe . Our privileged position at the mouth of the lower Ebro entrusts us with a unique landscape on the entire Costa Dorada.

Deltaventur Canoeing organizes routes to descend the Ebro delta in its lower part.

The departures will be made from our facilities in Amposta, from where we will transfer you with our vehicles to the point of departure on the Ebro river.

You will be able to explore, with the help of our guides, the final stretch of the Ebro Delta on an adapted kayak with all the safety measures, so that it can be done from children to adults.

Depending on the skill of the group, let's plan different routes in different parts of the delta, to choose between:

• The island of Buda: one of the largest islands on the Tarragona coast. The route begins at the port of Deltebre, stopping at 15 different points, namely Muntell de les verges, Lo Riu Vell, Sant Antoni Island, Lo Garxal, Sant Antoni Island Beach, Riu Vell and Buda Beach. Finally you will return to the starting point in Deltebre. Tour of 15 km , duration of 3 hours approx.
• The five islands: We will leave the Tivenys pier, passing through Els Masos Island, Plana Island, Aldover Pier, Bítem Pier, Audí Island, Audí Island and Xiquina Island. This route is about 12-13.5 km and it takes 2 hours and 30 min .
• El Azud: the starting point is from the Benifallet jetty to the mouth of the Canaletes river. We pass by the Torre de Mollet, stopping at the archaeological site of Aldovesta, we will continue towards Lo Castellot de la Roca Roja, Masia de Xalamera and La Pedrera. Finally, we will end up at the El Azud channel to the Xerta pier. The route is about 10.5-12km with a duration of 2h and 45min .

For these and other routes we will equip you with everything you need and you will only have to bring clothes to change later and shoes that can get wet.
