Telemark Sierra Nevada is a snow sports school that since 1989 has specialized in teaching courses and outings for this type of activity.

Our teachers are specialists in each and every one of the areas we teach, many of them are even active runners, participating in various competitions. We teach classes in small groups, because we understand that personalized attention is the best way for you to get started in the practice of these sports and to improve your techniques, since the instructors will be able to pay much more attention to you .

We offer courses for children as well, since from the age of 4 they can practice this type of sports.

With Telemark Sierra Nevada Snowboard you can enjoy one of the best experiences that can be had in the snow. In Sierra Nevada we have incredible landscapes and wonderful mountains thanks to which you can slide on your snowboard.

All our teachers are qualified and have extensive experience, as some are competitors in this modality. Thanks to us you will be able to try various snowboarding modes and you will know if yours are the slopes, the rails, the pipe or off-piste.

We also have snow camps with which you can enjoy classes both on the slopes and in the dry and you will meet people with your interests with whom you will spend a weekend or a whole week, as you prefer. You will have the right to 2 hours of class on the track and 1 hour in the afternoons in which you can watch videos, attend master class, etc.

We carry out snowshoe excursions in the Sierra Nevada, starting from either Pradollano or Borreguiles. The routes last 2 hours in which we can admire the landscapes and use these tools to be able to walk through the snow without sinking. Before carrying out the activity we will explain how to use the rackets and do not worry about the size, as they are unique sizes so that everyone can use them, since they adapt to the foot.

We can also take excursions to Veleta, La Loma de Dílar or the San Juan Valley. We need a minimum group of 4 people to carry out the activity. It is ideal for you to take a getaway as a couple, with friends or even with small children, as this sport adapts to all types of audiences.

It is important that you come with warm, waterproof clothing and sunglasses, as well as a backpack in which you carry water, sunscreen, and something to eat during the journey.

The perfect time to practice ski touring is in February, as the "spring snow" has the perfect conditions. Our mountain guides will be in charge of going with you and taking you along the best routes.

One of the excursions we do is to climb Pico del Veleta, at 3,396m high. We will leave the hostel and reach the top by climbing Loma del Veleta. This excursion will last one day, since it is usually about 4 to 5 hours of excursion with a stop for lunch.

At Telemark we take advantage of our proximity and passage through the Sierra Nevada all year round. We know that it is an area that is worth visiting not only during the snowy season. If we know how and where to move, we will discover magnificent landscapes all year round.

There are many downhill fans who come to Sierra Nevada to practice since it has a steep descent from the ski resort that meets their expectations. In addition, it offers numerous routes of varying difficulty waiting for you to explore them.

• Downhills on the slopes: Aimed at those seeking strong emotions. The lifts can only be used in the months of July and August.

• Monachil and descent through El Purche: 4-hour route that combines descent with mid-distance pedaling.

• San Vereda de la Estrella Valley:Excursion that lasts approximately 6 hours and will allow you to contemplate the varied flora and fauna of the area.

• Jeres del Marquesado - Refugio Postero Alto - La Calahorra:During one day we will visit each of these places to appreciate their unique beauty.

On the other hand, we organize multi-day routes such as the cycling tour of the Sierra Nevada in which we travel for up to 8 days. This excursion can also be organized in stages, according to the physical condition of our users.
