Guheko brings you closer to canyoning or canyoning, an activity that combines different sports techniques to explore the course of the water of a mountain river, walking along the bottom of the canyon and raffling their formations through different progression techniques, such as swimming, climbing, jumping or descending with ropes (rappelling).

The difficulty of this activity depends on the characteristics of the canyon, and there is the possibility of initiation level drops at almost any time of the year without any danger.

It is not necessary previous experience or an especially good physical form, our monitors will always accompany you and teach you the different progression techniques before starting the activity, so that you practice them and know them at a basic level with certainty.

In Guheko we take the raft and get into the water of the Bernesga river in León and we descend it between fast torrents, jumps and zigzags trepidating in a whitewater route that you have to try with your friends or family.

The rafting is the activity par excellence of river descent as it is ideal for group. The rafts have capacity for about 9 people, living all the experiences of the descent in company.

Subject to some grips that are inside the raft you will be very firm while shoveling against the current trying you and the group to maintain the correct direction of the boat.

Each raft will have a monitor that will carry out the work of leader and guide coordinating the entire team.

For children we also make family descents, quieter and easier so that they can know the world of rafting from an early age.

Snowshoes are an instrument that barely sinks into the snow and allows us to effortlessly walk along long mountain routes in winter.

In the valleys of León we have 2 paintball fields where to practice painting battles in the heart of the Leon mountain. In Vegacervera , at the base of Correcillas peak, we have installed the paintball fields in which to try this hilarious game.

Both enclaves are perfectly set in the middle of forests and hills to recreate the best possible paintball war with several scenarios to develop the activity set in history.

There is a wide variety of paintball games available for the development of different facets, all of them will require the culmination of different objectives in each case.

The activity includes :

• Paintball equipment consisting of a bib, marker gun, mask and a neck protector

• 100 ball charger for each person

• Water bottles

The games can be developed both in the morning and in the afternoon and there is the possibility that you will make as many reloads as you need during the game sessions.

In our facilities you can also snack and we also have complete facilities in which the bathrooms are included so that players can shower after the battle.

To enjoy with all the senses of northern Spain we have a wide range of hiking trails through the central mountains of León and Asturias with which you will breathe fresh air and exercise Between fantastic places.

We signed buses from León to the points where hiking trails begin.

You can do them as far as you want and even hold your physique, not being a very worked physical condition.

Guheko invites you to start in the world of climbing with the climbing wall that we have in the locality of Vegacervera, in León , where to climb safely and comfortably learning the basic technique.

The climbing wall allows a very fun initiation through a wall that reaches 10 meters high, with very affordable tracks and good grips.

The guides will help you gain height by teaching you how to anchor yourself to the cracks in the wall.

Climbing the climbing wall can be done by people who don't have a special physical attitude as well as by children.

You will need a helmet, harness and ropes to climb the wall, which we will provide from Guheko.

A very instructive climbing day and that is sure to encourage you to keep trying it.

In Vegacervera, a village in the valleys of the central mountains of León , we have a archery > between meadows and with the mountains in the background that are the most suitable environment for a shooting competition in which your skill and temper will be decisive.

We will give you a recurved bow with which you will practice your aim on the target with the arrows that we will use for your use.

After training we will do a competition in which you will see them with your teammates in a test that will reward the one who has obtained the most points, that is, the one that has stayed closest to the target in each release.

There are also group championships to coordinate and achieve victory among all.

The full duration of the day is 1 hour and a half or so.

The Valporquero cave , in the heart of the central mountains of León , is one of the most famous in the Spanish speleological panorama. It contains underground routes that can turn your visit into an authentic day of canyoning with underground canyons crossed by torrents of water.

We begin the epic in the tourist area of ​​the cave with large galleries full of stalagmites and stalactites. Soon we will leave the easy itinerary and get ready to live great sensations through the underground river until it comes to the surface.

Outside the cave we will continue down through the sickles of Vegacervera being already a purely canyoning activity.

The crossing of the cave is achievable by almost everyone. We use canyoning techniques such as descents and ropes but the monitors will show us their use and we can easily cross the underground river.

The complete canyoning material is included such as booties, downhill, wetsuit, helmet with lighting, etc.

Enjoy the sense of speed and weigh nothing down in our zip line in Vegacervera in León . We release you from the heights and through a cable you descend with the whole body hanging until it almost touches the ground.

Young and old can try the zip line, as it is a very simple recreational activity and does not involve any physical effort or special technique.

The monitors will equip you with all the necessary accessories to secure yourself to the cable and lower firmly.

The zip line descent is possible from a weight of approximately 45 kg, so that we can fix the harness more securely.

The zip line is nestled in the middle of a mountain valley so you can admire the beautiful views between the trees and enjoy a pleasant day outdoors.

The mountains of the central mountains of León are the setting for a day of rappel on its steep slopes. This technique will help us descend long cornices secured by a descender, a harness and a rope.

The route contrary to the climbing ensures high doses of emotion and tempering, since you will have to save unevennesses of up to 40 meters in a leisurely and patient way.

The descent instructor will equip us with all the material in addition to letting us know some basic movements and techniques for a better descent.

There are several ways to descend, some suitable to start with the rappelling and others that will require a refined technique and knowledge of the necessary materials.

The English camps of Guheko are the perfect solution for your children to learn English while expressing themselves freely in a natural environment, away from stress and the bustle of big cities.

We are in Vegacervera and in that locality we combine adventure activities with those of English to get them to internalize the language without even realizing it and being able to use it during the course of the camp, written and oral in a fluid way.

We have three camp shifts, which are distributed from June 29 to July 18, for children between ages 8 to 13 years .

Throughout the entire period of stay in our center, children will perform these activities , among others:

- Archery : outdoors and supervised by monitors.

- English classes : activities and games will be held expressing themselves fully in this language.

- Paintball : game of skill and strategy so that they learn to work in equipment.

- Canoeing : excursions to the river to make routes in our canoes.
