Guheko is a company that works in León and its mountains with a proposal of leisure and adventure activities through the natural environment of this region as well as as for others in Asturias. They are committed to practicing outdoor sports with the best instructors and the best facilities and routes.

This is the list of activities that we have at Guheko:

• Canyoning: Descend the Val Porquero cave, one of the most famous in the national territory on a route that mixes caving with canyoning.

• Caving: Discover the ins and outs of the Val Porquero cave as well as others in the area of the central mountains of León.

• Rafting: The Bernesga River can be descended aboard an inflatable raft in which the entire group will have to paddle in the same direction.

• Snowshoes: In winter, the León mountains bordering Asturias offer the possibility of crossing with snowshoes, which help you step on the snow without sinking.

• Hiking: Routes to walk through high mountain environments in León and other coastal areas of Asturias such as Cares.

• Climbing: Do introductory climbing in a climbing wall to get in touch with this vertical adventure sport.

• Archery: A test of precision and concentration in a shooting range surrounded by nature with competitions.

• Paintball: Two paintball fields and several games between forests and meadows in the Leonese valleys to battle with your friends.

• Zipline: Descents hanging from a cable and held by a harness that resemble hanging from a vine through the jungle.

• Rappel: Go down the rock walls progressively and with the proper technique through the mountains using the best equipment.

You will have the best advice from the instructors and the most careful material to carry out the most exciting activities in the Leonese nature.

Guheko brings you closer to canyoning or canyoning, an activity in which different sports techniques are combined to explore the water course of a mountain river, walking along the bottom of the canyon and dodging their training through different progression techniques, such as swimming, climbing, jumping or descending with ropes (rappel).

The difficulty of this activity depends on the characteristics of the canyon, with the possibility of performing initiation level descents at almost any time of the year without any danger.

No previous experience or particularly good physical shape is necessary, our instructors will always accompany you and teach you the different progression techniques before starting the activity, so that you can practice them and learn them at a basic level in complete safety.

Material included:

• Neoprene suits and booties

• Protective helmet

• Harness with seat

• Complete collective team.

The material provided by the participant consists of: Swimsuit, towel and footwear for the activity (boots or sports shoes with laces).

In Guheko we take the raft and jump into the water of the Bernesga River in León and go down it between rapid torrents, jumps and exciting zigzags in a whitewater tour that you have to try with your friends or family.

Rafting is the quintessential river rafting activity as it is ideal to do in a group. The rafts have capacity for about 9 people, living all the experiences of the descent in company.

Subject to some grips inside the raft, you will be very firm while you paddle against the current, trying to maintain the correct direction of the boat.

Each raft will have a monitor who will carry out the tasks of leader and guide, coordinating the entire team.

For children we also do family descents, calmer and simpler so that they can get to know the world of rafting from an early age.

Surely you have never seen León and its province as we show you with our balloon rides through the heights. The journey through the skies takes you from the capital of León with its magnificent monuments to the mountains adjacent to Asturias.

The reason for the balloon ride can be very varied, offering activities specially designed for:

• Events for clients

• Business incentives

• Bachelor parties

• Birthday gift

• Friends meetings

You can also choose the flight mode. We have the possibility of:

• Panoramic flight : We went up with the balloon to almost 1,000 meters high, seeing the immensity of the Castilian plateau as well as the mountains and the main towns and the city of León.

• Captive flight : This variant consists of an ascent and descent of about 20 meters in a balloon tied with ropes to the ground.

The duration of both activities is approximately 1 hour.

We look out over the Cantabrian Mountains between León and Asturias and tour its peaks and slopes equipped withsnowshoes , an ancient invention that has become very fashionable since it greatly facilitates walking through the snow.

Snowshoes are an instrument that barely sinks into the snow and allows us to walk effortlessly on long mountain routes in winter.

We start from León capital and climb to the mountains from where we start the routes, which will have a duration and gradient adapted to the different needs of each one.

• Canes

• Leggings

We also include transportation from León capital to the starting point of the tour.

In the valleys of León we have 2 paintball fields where we can practice paint battles in the mountains of León. In Vegacervera, at the base of Correcillas peak, we have paintball fields installed where you can try this fun game.

Both enclaves are perfectly set in the middle of forests and hills to recreate the paintball war as best as possible with several scenarios to develop the activity set in history.

There is a wide variety of paintball games available for the development of different facets, all of them will require the completion of different objectives in each case.

The activity includes:

• Paintball equipment consisting of a breastplate, marker gun, mask and a neck protector

• Charger of 100 balls for each person

• Water bottles

The games can take place both in the morning and in the afternoon and there is the possibility that you can recharge as many times as you need during the game sessions.

In our facilities you can also have a snack and we also have complete facilities that include bathrooms so that players can shower after the battle.

To enjoy northern Spain with all your senses, we have a wide range of hiking routes through the central mountains of León and Asturias with which you will breathe fresh air and exercise among fantastic landscapes.

We charter buses from León to the points where the hiking routes begin.

You can do them to the extent you want and as long as your physique can handle it, a very well-worked physical condition is not essential.

We do the following, among other routes:

• Cares Route

• Sancenas Valley

• Arnao – San Juan de la Arena (Nalón estuary)

• Ports of Vegabaño

• Berbes – Ribadesella

• Brañacaballo Skirts

With these routes we will see peaks, coasts, green hills and charming rural areas typical of León and Asturias, even at night with some night routes.

Always accompanied by the monitors and guides who will take us along the way and provide us with a lot of information about the places we will visit.

Guheko invites you to get started in the world of climbing with the climbing wall that we have in the town of Vegacervera, in León, where you can climb safely and comfortably while learning the basic technique.

The climbing wall allows a very fun introduction to a wall that reaches 10 meters high, with very accessible routes and good grips.

The guides will help you gain height by teaching you how to anchor yourself to the cracks that exist in the wall.

Climbing climbing can be done by people who do not have a special physical attitude as well as by children.

You will need a helmet, harness and ropes to climb the wall, which we will provide you from Guheko.

A very instructive day of climbing that will surely encourage you to continue trying it.

InVegacervera, a town in the valleys of the central mountains of León, we have an archery range between meadows and with the mountains in the background, which are the most suitable environment for a shooting competition in which your skill and mettle will be decisive.

We will give you a recurved bow with which you will practice your aim on the target with the arrows that we will put for your use.

After having trained we will do a competition in which you will compete with your teammates in a test that will reward the one who has obtained the most points, that is, the one who has been closest to the target in every launch.

There are also group championships to coordinate and achieve victory together.

The entire duration of the day is 1 hour and a half more or less.

The Val Porquero Cave, in the heart of the central mountains of León, is one of the most famous in the Spanish speleological panorama. It contains underground routes that can turn your visit into an authentic day of canyoning with underground canyons crossed by torrents of water.

We begin the epic in the tourist area of the cave with large galleries full of stalagmites and stalactites. Soon we will leave the easy itinerary and we will prepare to experience great sensations along the underground river until we emerge to the surface.

Outside the cave we will continue down the Vegacervera gorges, now a purely canyoning activity.

The cave crossing is doable by almost everyone. We use canyoning techniques such as descenders and ropes but the instructors will teach us how to use them and we will be able to cross the underground river with ease.

Complete canyoning equipment is included such as booties, descender, neoprene suit, illuminated helmet, etc.

Enjoy thefeeling of speed and not weighing anything by going down our zip line set up in Vegacervera in León. We release you from above and through a cable you descend with your entire body hanging until you almost touch the ground.

Children and adults alike can try the zip line, since it is a very simple recreational activity that does not involve any physical effort or special technique.

The monitors will equip you with all the necessary accessories to secure yourself to the cable and descend firmly.

Zipline descent is possible from a weight of approximately 45 kg, so that we can attach the harness more safely.

The zip line is located in the middle of a mountain valley so you can admire the beautiful views between the trees and enjoy a pleasant day outdoors.

The mountains of the central mountains of León serve as the setting for a day of rappel along its steep slopes. This technique will help us descend long ledges secured by a descender, a harness and a rope.

The route opposite to climbing ensures high doses of emotion and courage, since it will be necessary to overcome differences in level of up to 40 meters in a slow and patient manner.

The descent instructor will equip us with all the material in addition to letting us know some basic movements and techniques for a better descent.

There are several routes to descend, some suitable for starting rappelling and others that will require a refined technique and knowledge of the necessary materials.

The English camps of Guheko are the perfect solution for your children to learn English while expressing themselves freely in a natural environment, away from stress and the bustle of big cities.

We are in Vegacervera and in that locality we combine adventure activities with those of English to get them to internalize the language without even realizing it and being able to use it during the course of the camp, written and oral in a fluid way.

We have three camp shifts, which are distributed from June 29 to July 18, for children between ages 8 to 13 years .

Throughout the entire period of stay in our center, children will perform these activities , among others:

- Archery : outdoors and supervised by monitors.

- English classes : activities and games will be held expressing themselves fully in this language.

- Paintball : game of skill and strategy so that they learn to work in equipment.

- Canoeing : excursions to the river to make routes in our canoes.

Let your children fill their lives with new experiences by participating in our multi-adventure summer camps . Our center of Guheko , is located in the most rural and natural area of the city of León. Perfect land for children to spend a few days participating in adventure activities and sports , meeting new friends and learning to live with those who will be, initially, unknown to them to later be great friends . These types of environments and projects are essential for the development of their emotional and social education.

With more than 15 years of experience, in our summer camps, children will make some of these adventures, in addition to many more:

- Paintball : dividing them into teams, children will learn to work together enjoying this exciting strategic game.

- Giant zip line over the Torio river : they will live the adventure of throwing themselves by a zip line flying over the river.
- Caving : excursions to the subsoil of the Earth with expert monitors in which they will combine different activities such as climbing and
the rappel
