Nomad World

At Nomad World we intend to disseminate the richness of the landscape of the Community of Madrid with routes focused on making its main places known to all kinds of profiles.

With a clear classification of our itineraries by level of difficulty so that you can identify them before making the decision of which one you want to start with, we present dozens of paths that you can continue to use as a means of hiking. Some of them are:

- The Barondillo Millennial Yew : an easy route between Cotos and the urban area of Rascafría that will take us into the pine forests that make up the Lozoya Valley. This is how we will get to this emblematic tree that has seen century after century pass by.

- La Cueva del Monje : also without any difficulty in this case we will be in the Segovian area of Navalhorno to enter the forests for which the Sierra de Guadarrama is characterized.

- Pico de Peñalara : we climb in difficulty, up to the medium level, at the same time that we ascend the mountain using the Path of the Alpine Battalion. It departs from the Puerto de Cotos and will leave us impressive general views thanks to the altitude.

Come winter we transform hiking into routes for which we equip ourselves with snowshoes.

In Nomad World winter does not stop us and to continue moving forward we reconvert our proposals into specific ones for snow creating with it routes with snowshoes that allow us to continue moving through the mountains.

One of the main itineraries that we tackle in this sense is the excursion to Loma del Noruego in the Port of Cotos . The great advantage of this proposal is that it belongs to a level C of difficulty, which means that it only has a drop of 400 meters between its maximum and minimum points.

To start this route we will meet at the meeting point and once the group is complete:

- We will introduce you to the monitor and we will have a short talk. It is convenient that we get to know each other a little. We will ask you if it is your first time to pay you more attention if you do not know how to use the equipment.

- We will distribute the material. It is made up of a pair of snowshoes for each participant and two poles that will help to advance over the snowy terrain. We will help you to place it with your footwear. Remember that if you do not have hiking boots, they must be sporty.

- We will leave the route: we will go at a calmer pace at the beginning to make sure that everyone controls the footprint. It will increase as the excursion goes on and you feel more comfortable.

At Nomad World we will be your professional company to go on excursions, both hiking and trekking, so that you can enjoy nature and unique mountainous landscapes from our central Madrid.

The routes have been planned being aware of the different capacities of the participants, creating a catalog by levels so that anyone can participate in the ideal one for them:

- High Level : it is with which we classify those itineraries in which there is a difference in altitude of around 800 meters between the minimum and maximum level that we will reach.

- Medium Level : paths that are somewhat less demanding because the unevenness does not exceed 600 meters.

- Low Level : these are the most manageable routes with just 400 meters of difference between the two heights.

We also prepare you with mountaineering courses given by technicians who stand out in this modality in our country. They are done in small groups to be able to assist you personally. They will convey their experience with all types of audiences, whether it is made up of children or adults.
