Vertientes Aventura

At Vertientes we teach you how to apply rappelling to the different disciplines with which we operate in the Sierra de Guara. Learning it will provide us with security and comfort to overcome heights when climbing, canyoning or on cave expeditions.

Normally, it will take place in the Peña Castibián since it allows us a wide range of descents from 4 meters to 50 m.

We will try the two basic modalities: the usual one, controlling the descent by leaning on the wall, and the flying one, without maintaining physical contact with any surface until reaching the ground.

Aspects that we will take into account:

- Physically, we will only need to work on balance and master the rope with which we go down.

- Each participant will bring boots or sports shoes, flexible clothing, clothing appropriate to the temperatures, gloves and a light backpack.

- Before the rappel we will provide you with a helmet, which will be part of the safety equipment along with the harness, ropes, descenders, ropes and the rest of the technical material.

At Vertientes we will ensure that you get the best impression of the Sierra de Guara through via ferrata itineraries that are so comfortable and safe that entire families with children from 7 years old can participate. . If you don't have vertigo, you are prepared.

The best-known routes in this environment are found on the access from Barbastro to Graus, in the Golf of Olvena, under the name of Santo Cristo, without difficulties throughout the journey until a final section optional.

Depending on the duration of the adventure you want:

- We will spend half a day on the Bierge ferrata, with groups between 3 participants and a maximum of 7, to be able to maintain constant control of everyone.

- For a full day we will go to Rodellar, Olvena or Eresué, more attractive for those who have greater resistance to physical exercise. In the first case, sometimes we can include the Barranco de la Virgen without increasing the cost.

- For those looking for additional emotions, we will go to Canal del Palomo, Foradada del Toscar or the Oliana ferrata.

In Vertientes we play paintball in real circumstances of open field battle thanks to our field in the interior of the Sierra de Guara.

You will have a very easy time playing the role of brave warriors whose reward will be a refreshing swim in the Alcanadre River, next to which we are located.

- You have to bring: sports shoes with which you can run on uneven terrain, equally comfortable clothing and water or an isotonic drink to have on hand during the development of the game. We recommend a raincoat, since this location is prone to unexpected rain, and gloves that do not prevent you from handling the marker.

- We will give you: a jumpsuit that will save your clothes from paint, full body protectors and a helmet.

In addition, the battle is carried out under the instructions of a specialist guide who, in addition to ensuring that everything goes well, will propose different modalities with which you will have to meet various objectives, such as obtaining the flag of the opposite field or finish off all your opponents.

In Vertientes we present you the most exciting rafting from our center in medieval Alquézar, with a spectacular location in the Sierra de Guara.

The locations we use for this activity are:

- The Ésera River: in the area located in the east direction, as it passes through the municipality of Campo.

- The Gállego River: it will take us to the West, from Murillo de Gállego.

We will travel on each raft in groups between 6 and 8 participants. There are options of varying levels that allow the presence of small children:

- For a family descent we will opt for Level I Rafting, a 2-hour stretch with very little difficulty, perfect between 6 and 13 years old.

- If we are looking for a more aggressive route we will decide on Level II Rafting. It has a basic difficulty and is suitable from 14 years old. We will finish in about 3 hours.

It is an essential requirement for this activity that all members of the group know how to swim. For the rest, it is enough that you bring a swimsuit and appropriate footwear, we will provide the materials and safety elements.

At Vertientes we make sure that you reach the most beautiful corners of the Sierra de Guara with our hiking routes aimed at those who are interested in getting to know more closely the animal and plant species that make up this ecosystem.

The keys to this adventure:

- We will usually plan an itinerary from our base of operations in Alquézar, where we recommend that you come during the milder seasons of the year, especially in autumn and spring. Upon request, we can also travel to the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, in the Pyrenees.

- Among the interesting aspects that we will discover are the presence ofEgyptian vultures and griffon vultures and, depending on the route, the remains of unpopulated historical settlements.

- There are no specific physical requirements, as long as you are used to leisure in natural environments and the children in the group are over 7 years old.

- We will carry, in addition to sufficiently warm and comfortable clothes, a backpack in which to store the objects we need. You can hire an additional picnic so you don't have to bring any food.

In Vertientes, if you bring your mountain bike, we will accompany you and recommend the routes that give us wonderful views of the Pyrenees from the Sierra de Guara and the surroundings of Alquézar strong>.

We will attend to your preferences regarding level and duration in an adventure for which generally:

- We will get on one of the company's vehicles to quickly reach height, reaching the top of the Mesón de Sevil.

- From this place, we will stop for a few moments to enjoy the views of the Balces Canyon, from there the mountain bike route will begin in a descending direction.

- In addition to natural elements, we find others belonging to the ethnographic history of the province, such as the Los Santos Castle and remains that the shepherds used for their daily accommodation.

A helmet will be provided for the activity, which participants who do not have their own must wear. We will also equip ourselves with an anti-puncture kit so that no one has to be left behind. Food is subject to prior contract.

In Vertientes Aventura your bachelor party will be a complete program of 3 days and 2 nights in the Sierra de Guara, for a single price and without last minute surprises . We prepare your stay, on a bed and breakfast basis (optional half board, activities and picnics of each day.

In addition, we give you a choice between two different packages:

- Multiadventure : different emotions on each day. We will start with a rappel or orientation at night, to face the next morning with a medium level water ravine and we will end with a game of paintball.

- Multi-canyoning : this sport will be the star of our farewell. After the same night activities at the time of our arrival, we will dedicate the next two days to completing some of the most popular descents in the Sierra de Guara.
