Escola del Vent is a school open to everyone. We work every day with the mission of teaching our students to navigate and enjoy the tranquility that the sea offers.

This business adventure was born with the aim of creating a useful space for anyone, regardless of their age, physical condition or sex. With Escola del Vent you can enjoy learning and practicing your favorite sports during the 12 months of the year.

All our courses, recognized by the Catalan Sailing Federation, are guided by qualified instructors and with boats and material from the school itself, always in perfect condition and maintenance

The different levels that we offer in our courses are structured according to the official standard levels of the Catalan Sailing School. We offer a wide variety of sports:

The Escola del Vent Kayaks offers you a wide variety of courses adapted to teach you everything you need to know about this exciting activity. It doesn't matter if you have never done this sport before, we will give you the basics so that in a short time you will become a professional.

The courses that we put at your disposal are:

• Level 1: This course is aimed at all those people who want to learn to kayak through the sea in calm waters. We recommend that you take courses 1 and 2 to achieve good control of the boat in just two sessions.

• Level 2: It is a course intended for all those sailors who can be self-sufficient, in it you will be able to improve your paddle technique and deepen safety.

• Level 3: It is a course designed for those students who can use this boat as a safe means of transportation and thus be able to get the most out of the kayak.

We will teach you all the necessary concepts, from the parts of the kayak to the material to use in each case. You will learn effective propulsion technique, how to board and disembark on the beach without waves or how to perfect your driving stroke.

The Escola del Vent Kayak also offers you a wide variety of guided sea kayak excursions so you can discover the most beautiful and inaccessible areas of the Badalona coast.

The Escola del Vent Surf offers you a wide variety of surf courses designed for all levels and ages, from a dynamic point of view and following the planned program from beginner to advanced levels.

All Escola del Vent Surf courses will be taught by the best fully qualified professionals.

The objectives sought with these courses are:

• Teaching how to surf and everything related to this world. At the end of the course our students will be able to surf completely independently.

• Teach you to understand the sea, from its currents to the different types of breakers. We will also try to transmit respect and care for the natural environment.

• We will teach the history, culture, rules and philosophy of the sea. Our students will learn to respect other surfers.

• Learn the safety rules, to fully enjoy this sport from the beginning and with total confidence.

With the Escola del Vent Vela you can learn about sailing in a dynamic and fun way. We follow the program carried out by the Catalan Sailing School. This type of course is aimed at people over 7 years old.

We invite you to learn about both the improvement and initiation courses. In this modality and according to the level of each group, we will sail with boats that adapt to their characteristics, the students will have the support of one of our fully specialized teachers at all times.

The sailing courses consist of different levels that are identified by colors. As the person assimilates the knowledge of each of the levels, they will be given the corresponding certificate in their “student passport”.

These are the different levels that we have at Escola del Vent Vela:

• Yellow Level: Initiation 1. Intended for people starting from scratch. They will learn the basics and in a short time they will be completely self-sufficient.

• Orange Level: Initiation 2. The student will begin to develop a certain autonomy in mastering the boat, we will carry out practices with light and mixed winds always under the supervision of one of our instructors.

• Blue Level: Advanced Level 1. Mastery of maneuvers and navigation with medium and moderate winds in all directions. The student will navigate through her account and perform the indicated exercises.

• Brown Level: Advanced 2. Mastery of maneuvers and navigation with moderate and strong winds in all directions. This level is aimed at people who want to enter competition.

Come with the Escola del Vent Windsurf to discover an aquatic modality that will allow you to sail on the waves, enjoying the attraction that solo sailing offers. Windsurfing has many advantages, among which is easy transportation and access to the sea. Without a doubt, it is one of the most fun water sports

In our school we have a teaching method where adaptation to the student and safety come first, this is one of the reasons why we have a large influx of students.

We also have to highlight the great love that exists in Badalona for windsurfing, the objectives we want to achieve in each course are:

• Know the direction of the wind

• Differentiate the elements that make up a windsurf rig

• The propulsion of a windsurf board

• Orientation and basic directions

• Finding the correct posture

The courses will last 10 hours divided into 2 hours each day from Monday to Friday or on weekends. You will have included all the necessary technical material, monitors throughout the course and Civil Liability and Accident insurance.

The Escola del Vent Paddel Surf offers you the possibility of taking courses in this new sport modality from the world of nautical, Stand Up Surfing or Rowing Surfing. It is a sport that had its beginnings in Indonesian towns in order to be able to travel from island to island.

It consists of paddling standing up while maintaining balance on a large surfboard sliding with the help of an oar. With it you can make both trips and surf with big waves.

At the Escola del Vent Paddel Surf we have 3 levels:

• Basic SUP: Acquire general basic knowledge, stay standing on the board and manage to paddle back to the starting point. Classes last 4 hours and are taught for two consecutive days, as long as weather conditions allow.

• SUP Improvement: Those people who already have experience will find in this course the possibility to go one step further in this sport.

• SUP Waves: Learn not only to navigate with the board, but also to catch waves. You will discover a new and very fun way to surf.
