If you think about water activities, the most popular may be kayaking. With Kalahari you can enjoy some of the most exciting, in the Valencian Community!

Depending on your experience and the flow of the river, we can do one section or another.

For initiation sections, or level I, it takes about 2 hours to descend it.

If you dare to try one of level II, we will go to the Hoces del Cabriel canyon, where you will face the most famous rapids: El Paredón, El Purgatorio and El Caos. It is a descent of about 5 hours so you have to expect some resistance on your part. We do this activity inopen kayak and it requires some experience.

We can also descend this canyon in a tandem kayak, if you want to share the experience with another person at the same time, dividing the effort when using the paddles. Or with a monitor so you feel safer.

El Cabriel also has the charm of not having buildings or industries next to its riverbed. It is a river in a natural state, without the influence of humans.

If you come to see Kalahari, we will take you on a rafting descent that you will not forget. We are the first to offer the activity in the Valencian Community!

We usually do rafting on the Cabriel River. This river offers us different possibilities, depending on what you are looking for.

If you want to do an initiation descent, we have several sections available:

• The Prisons.
• Tete.
• Tamayo.

In addition, we will play games from the boat, so that you don't stop having fun for even a moment.

If you come as a family, we can do those same sections and make the descent so that the whole family has a great time. It can be done from the age of 5.

And, if you want a total adventure, get our complete descent, in which we tour the Hoces y los Cuchillos del Cabriel. We begin the descent at the Contreras Dam and reach the Valdocañas Bridge. A 20 kilometer route full of rapids, such as El Paredón, El Caos or El Purgatorio! The ultimate whitewater experience.

At Kalahari we offer you a multitude of adventure activities, in the surroundings of Venta del Moro. And, there is one that could not be missed: canoe descents.

We mainly do descents in the Cabriel River. Depending on your level, we will choose one section or another, since there are ideal areas to start and other more technical ones for people who have previous experience.

This is one of those activities that you can do with the whole family because even the little ones can start practicing it and enjoy a walk in the middle of one of the most beautiful natural environments we have in the area.

The canoes used by Kalahari are 2 seater, so you can navigate with whoever you choose. In addition, these types of canoes are very stable, so it is quite difficult to capsize.

During the crossings, the instructors will play a series of water games such as ambushes for the rest of the canoes, races or splashing them with the paddles, among others, to make the activity even more fun.

Do you want to feel the true adrenaline of climbing the world?

If you are looking for a good place to practice canyoneering, near Valencia, Kalahari is your place!

We love practicing canyoning, among many other activities. Therefore, we can take you on descents that are ideal for you. Before starting the descent, our instructors will provide you with the neoprene, helmet and life jacket. You will only have to bring some mountain boots or sneakers that can get wet, hold your foot well and do not slip.

They will also give you basic instructions such as the position to jump into the pools, what is the safety position within the river, how to swim to go from one bank of the river to the other if there is a current, etc.

Do you want to live strong emotions in the river? We recommend that you come and meet us, because not only will you be in front of the most surprising nature just 2 hours from Madrid, but you will also be able to practice outdoor sports and acquire knowledge from the hand of our guides, some passionate about the mountains and the environment.

We carry out individual canoe descents along the Cabriel River, where you will find several routes as well as sections to which we will take you by level. In all sections, gentle kilometers are combined with rapids, which will mean that in the same route you can enjoy a pleasant walk, letting yourself go and enjoying the landscape and rapids that will make all your senses alert and you will have to paddle hard. to be able to cross them.

Before the tour, the guides will take care of give you safety rules as well as theory on the operation of the equipment, the readings that must be done on the river currents, what are the various levels of whitewater that are encountered. find, what to do in case the canoe capsizes...

There are 2 levels:

• Level I: in the Tamayo, Tete or Jails section where we will be approximately for 2 hours
• Level II: in the Hoces Canyon, lasting half a day. Included here are sections of whitewater such as El Caos or El Parón.

Have you ever gotten on board a paddle surf board? It is one of the best ways to navigate the white waters of the river and enjoy its views and the sensations it transmits from a totally different point of view. Its handling is very simple and fun, the moment you get the hang of it you will be crossing rapids without falling off the board.

The river SUP is a unique activity that only we do. It is suitable for all types of people and physical conditions, even children can practice it, they have a great time!

The group will be accompanied by several guides who, before carrying out the SUP descent of the river, will explain the basic notions of reading the river and the operation of the equipment, as well as the safety rules. We will be able to descend along 6 kilometers where we will pass through different sections, both calm waters and rapids.

The crystal clear waters of the Cabriel (it is the cleanest river in Europe) will be perfect not only for you to carry out this activity but also for you to enjoy incredible views.

The duration of the activity is approximately a couple of hours and during the tour you will be able to experience sensations from such opposite poles as tranquility and adrenaline.

The paddle will help you move faster, turn or brake and in just a few minutes you will have complete control over the board. Also during the journey you can cross the river on foot or on your knees, even if you want you can lie down on the board and paddle like surfers do.
