Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak is a company dedicated to adventure activities in the vicinity of the Miño River . We take advantage of the natural environment near Tuy, on the border between Galicia and Portugal to make a varied list of activities. We welcome groups of all kinds and for any event.

Our aquatic activities are developed by the Miño river estuary with large areas for fishing and to descend towards its mouth in A Guarda with boat trips and kayaks . We also have descents down the Tamuxe River . Routes that can even be nocturnal in the light of the moon.

With our feet on the ground, we go horseback riding, hiking and mountain bike rides around the Miño area and through the Monte Alaia Natural Park, the oldest natural area of this type in Galicia.

And we also offer you strong emotions with our speed circuit to run in fast karts.

Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak offers you the possibility of enjoying this spectacular river aboard our boat, in the company of our team of professionals, who are fully knowledgeable about the geography of this area of Galicia that borders the neighboring Porgugal.

The 2 options that we propose are the following:

• Short Walk: We will leave from the San Telmo de Tui pier, enjoying a pleasant walk through the waters of this Galician river. We will be able to delight ourselves with a wonderful picture of the city of Tui with the Cathedral of Santa María on top, and the different buildings that make up the historical-artistic complex of the town of Tui.

• Half-day and full-day tour: We will cross the Miño River in its final section in our comfortable boat, from Tui to the mouth of A Guarda, enjoying the Baixo Miño region from another point of view. Between islands and sandbanks we will discover the towns and places of great scenic beauty on both banks of the river.

Another option that we give you is to rent a zodiac . It is the best idea to get started in navigation and you do not need a degree to navigate with it. You can visit the most inaccessible areas of the river or visit one of its beautiful islands.

We practice sport fishing in the estuary of the river Miño in the vicinity of the Pontevedra town of Tuy, on the border between the Galician territory and Portugal. A monitor with extensive experience in fishing in these enclaves will be the best company to spend a very productive day and in which you will learn a lot about different techniques.

Trout and trout will be the main specimens that we will be able to fish in the mighty waters of the Miño along its estuary. Wide areas to get closer to the riverbed.

We practice two different types of fishing:

Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak gives you a ride on this fun and easy-to-handle boat through the Miño River estuary , at this point natural border between Galicia and Portugal.

We start the kayak route from the San Telmo yacht club in Tuy and at the San Miguel de Tabagón dock. We cross the Miño estuary for 7 kilometers.

The descents are calm and do not have areas that are too fast and technical. The flow of the Miño ensures kayaking practically all year round.

The boat rental can be for 2 hours, half a day or the whole day.

In summer with a full moon we have night routes both along the Miño River and the Tamuxe River. They are 3 hours long.

Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak takes you to know the surroundings of our Nautical Club in Tui and the San Miguel de Tabagón Dock in O Rosal. We also do routes through the Monte Aloia Natural Park , a natural reserve that is among the longest-lived in the entire Galician territory.

You can rent one of our mountain bikes for a period of:

• 2 hours
• 4 hours
• All day

The tours of Mount Aloia are demanding as they travel through mountain paths that continue to climb through the forests. To find more bearable itineraries, you can take routes along the banks of the Miño River that marks the border with Portugal to its mouth in A Guarda.

We give you all the information about the routes with a track that you can download on the GPS that we will give you. You will also have a helmet to protect you and assistance during the route.

Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak has prepared s routes for you to do on foot through the Atlantic forests of southern Pontevedra in front of the border with Portugal near Tui. We went to the Monte Aloia Natural Park , the oldest space of this type in all of Galicia.

We will walk along its paths towards the top of the mountain or around it and seeing various types of trees, animal species and remains of ancient forts of the Celtic populations that inhabited these lands thousands of years ago.

Our goal is to make each of our experiences unrepeatable, as well as respect and commitment to our surroundings and the environment.

We provide you with everything you need to carry out this activity:

• Waterproof drums: so you can carry your towel, camera, mobile phone or whatever you need.
• Seats: to make you more comfortable.
• Route map: not to miss any detail.

You would have to bring:

• Comfortable clothes, hat and sunscreen.
• Hiking boots or some waterproof footwear, since humidity makes an appearance at certain times of the year.

With us you will discover prehistoric villages, archaeological remains, pools of crystalline water, dream trails and traditional mills ... Nature in its purest form at your feet!

Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak is located in the town of Tui , in the province of Pontevedra . To get there by car from Vigo it takes only half an hour, and from Pontevedra around 40 minutes. It is very close to the Monte Aloia Natural Park , the oldest in Galicia, and next to the river Miño.

The center combines all kinds of multi-adventure experiences such as kayak tours along the river, bike paths, hiking or even nautical activities in the waters of the Miño River.

One of its most outstanding activities are the horseback rides and routes around the natural environment in which it is found. Aquamiño & Tamuxe Kayak intends that clients can enjoy a horse ride that adapts to their needs and their experience as riders. Therefore, the route and its duration are planned taking these aspects into account. They also offer the possibility of combining horseback riding with other activities such as hiking to offer an authentic multi-adventure experience where enjoyment of the countryside is guaranteed.

In front of the border with Portugal in the town of Tui in Pontevedra, you will find a karting circuit so that you can emulate with your friends or family the great drivers of the panorama of the speed.

Runs on your own or group races along a 1,200 meter track that will surely squeeze your skills behind the wheel. You will have to show concentration in each curve to be the best on the track.

The grand prizes we hold are made up of all the elements of professional careers. You will be able to run in training sessions, timed qualifying laps and the race itself in which you fight side by side with your friends to get into the box.

The little ones can also get on a kart since we have models for them with less power. Even two-seater karts for an adult to accompany and guide them.
