These are the courses we have at Water Sports Mallorca Kitesurf :

• 12-hour initiation course: you will start kitesurfing with this course in groups of up to 4 people per instructor. You will learn to assemble the material, to take off and land the kites from land and from the water, and to let yourself slide on the water with the fun body-drags. Afterwards, you will practice water-start before starting to hold and gain windward with the upwinds or make changes of direction and gybes.

• 9-hour practical course: in groups of up to a maximum of 4 people, we will practice during the course so that you become familiar with all the material to be used and learn how to assemble it. These are the courses we offer you:

• 10-hour introductory course: we will teach you the basic notions about the physical forces that act in navigation, apparent and relative winds. Also the rules of priority of passage in the water are an important part to learn in this course. Finally we will teach you the main safety rules and how to act in case of risky situations. During the practical part, we will teach you the main sailor knots to use so that you learn how to assemble and disassemble each boat on your own.

• 6-hour practical course: we will also focus on safety and reactions to dangerous situations. After a few first indications on the beach, we will go directly to the water. At the end of the practical classes, the theoretical part is carried out, which will serve to adapt all the navigation knowledge that the student already has in other sports such as monohull sailing or windsurfing, for example, to the catamaran navigation itself.

• 4-hour advanced course: in groups of up to two students per boat, you will learn to sail on a catamaran with our boats: Hobie Cat 15, 16 and 18.
