At Xplora Galicia we carry out outdoor activities, ensuring that you spend an unforgettable day with family or friends.

In the Pontevedra area, we organize many of our activities around the Miño. In this area we will contemplate the incredible beauty of a dominant nature. A place where the preciousness of the ecosystem prevails and where Xplora Galicia offers conferences in:

Wine tourism : guided tourist routes in which you will learn the secrets of the wine in the area as well as its incredible flavor.

Kayak : short or long routes on the river Miño. Very beginner level so you can relax with a fun activity. We will stop at the main beaches that we meet on the way.

Hiking : guided routes to emblematic places near the river Miño. We will do two types of crossing: panoramic route or historical route. We will meet indigenous peoples and their cultures.

BTT routes : bicycle excursions through the Miño valley and Mount Aloia.

We also prepare activity packs for you to enjoy unique days. We will mix several activities or we will combine them with a little gastronomy and relaxation.

In Xplora Galicia Kayaks we offer you routes in these boats so that you can enjoy them with your family or with your group of friends.

With us you can descend the Miño River , where you will discover hidden and even inhospitable beaches, towns and forests. Do not be afraid to do this activity if you have not done it before, you can start with us in a very calm and relaxing day.

Our kayaks are very safe and easy to handle. You can order it single or two-seater. With them you will carry out one of these routes:

Short route: very simple route in which we will spend an hour and a half at sea and another hour on land. A walk along the water to enjoy with the family while we contemplate the ecosystem.

Long path: more complete than the previous one. We will travel 18 kilometers and we will stop at the most beautiful beaches and rivers to take a bath. Although the distance is long, it is very easy to enjoy with the family. Maximum duration of four hours.

Both trips will include transportation to and from the activity site, photographs of the activity and free participation for children under 6 years old as long as they are accompanied by two adults.

Do not forget to bring spare clothes, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.

In Xplora Galicia BTT you can rent our bicycles to go through the most wonderful corners of the Pontevedra area. If you are wanting to make a route in good company contemplating new places, with us you will enjoy a unique experience.

We organize these activities taking into account two great routes such as:

The route of the river Miño : you will see the beautiful valley of the Miño in a place with little traffic. Enjoy its forests, its mountains or its rivers. Come with friends or family to this activity. A three-hour route aimed at beginners.

The route of Mount Aloia : a somewhat more complicated route than the previous one in which we will challenge the height of Aloia. We will pass through wonderful natural landscapes on one of our most fun routes. We recommend this experience to people used to pedaling. Two and a half hours long.

In each route it includes the rental of the bicycle, a helmet, the transport and a photographic series so that you remember the experience. In addition, you can spend an unbeatable full day combining it with our gastronomy and relaxation proposals.

In Xplora Galicia Hiking we bring you hiking trails through the Pontevedra area. If you are looking to know those charming places that Galicia hides, come now surrounded by your loved ones.

We organize various types of excursions so that you can enjoy hiking with family or friends, adapted to any level:

Baixo Miño : a natural setting that combines forest trees and river water. We will also know the trails where we will find historical elements such as mills, Roman bridges or petroglyphs.

Panoramic Route : route of about three and a half or four hours in which we will see the Miño River and up to 57 water mills from the 18th century. We will know its way of working and its usefulness. Later we will see incredible waterfalls in which we will not stop taking photos. This excursion has a beginner-medium level.

Historical route : a visit to the past in which we will learn about the origins of this land full of trails, forests and rivers. A journey in which we will know the ruins of a pre-Roman population that is as old as it is well organized. A route full of mystery observing the houses in which they lived or the aqueduct they built. It lasts between three and a half hours and four hours. The level will be for beginners.

The groups to carry out the activity must be between 5 and 10 people. It is advisable to bring comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat and sunglasses. Bring you water and food to recharge your batteries.

At Xplora Galicia Guided Tours we do not want you to miss the most emblematic places of Pontevedra both culturally and historically. We offer you guided tours to remember with your family or friends.

If you are between 5 and 10 people, you can organize one of these two routes:

Panoramic route: route in which we will mainly know the 57 water mills that are on the path of the river Miño. These mills, considered "Asset of Cultural Interest" will be the center of attention knowing its operation and its usefulness.

Historical route: we will know the ruins of a pre-Roman population that has generated uncertainty for historians. We will see the houses where they lived and the aqueduct they built. A fun adventure that will take us back to the time.

We include the transfer both to go to the place and to come. The duration of these routes will be between 3 and 4 hours, while the difficulty will be at a beginner level. Come with your children to learn about these territories.

We offer you two types of bicycle depending on the route you are thinking of doing:
